Sugarmouse Pottery is made by partners Adrian Bolland & Tracy Savage from their pottery, which can be found in the court yard behind Tracy's studio.
Slip cast porcelain is produced from hand made plaster moulds creating a variety of mugs, jugs, vases, teapots and tableware, which are then individually hand painted to their own designs.
'By producing exclusively hand made pottery, we can ensure that our product remains totally unique to us and allows greater flexibility. We pride ourselves on our Yorkshire hand crafted product as it possesses a charm that only truly hand made can bring'.
The 'Tall Vases' are sold exclusively from the studio. Many of the designs are based on Tracy's paintings. Whilst the Ranges of Tableware are supplied to quality gift shops across the UK, Scotland, Wales and Ireland.
'Because the pottery is hand painted, it allows us to create 'Location specific' designs; Puffins to Scotland, 'Happy Animals' & insects to rural areas and a variety of sea birds, fishing boats and pebbles to coastal areas.'
In addition, Tracy also hand builds a variety of characterful herb pots in terracotta, along with an assortment of quirky one off designs ranging from comical owls to Push-me-pull-you's.
